Chapter 2: 4x4

That’s my baby, right there, L’il Red. Fixed her up myself from nothing more than a beat-up old frame that I found down in the La Mesa reservoir channel. She’s not the fastest yet (just wait until I get that supercharger attached, though) but she can climb up about any grade a person can. I think the picture is pretty cool, with the straight letter Los Santos and all. I don’t know who the writer was for that by the way. Wink wink.

Like a true woman L’il Red takes up most of my money it seems, but she’s worth it. Sometimes I’ll take her up to the Grand Senora and do some dune bashing or even some mudding if it’s been raining out. I’m lacking a winch at the moment so I don’t do any serious rock crawling or anything though. Most of the time I’m either two-tracking the hill trails outside of La Mesa or doing some concrete jungle riding down in the reservoir channels. We’ve got a pretty good course set up we can run when the water’s down so if you want to give it a go just let me know. I don’t race for pinks, though.

I’ve been looking for an off-road crew to ride with but there ain’t too many guys into 4x4 down here in La Mesa. Most are into muscle or sports cars, which I like, too, but I ain’t getting rid of L’il Red for nothing. I don’t mind off-roading by myself but it would be cool to do a ridge ride with a pack.

Chapter 1: A bit about me

I'm not really sure where to start this as I've never done anything like this before. But Sergio told me it could help to tell someone my story and since there ain't many people here in Los Santos that I'd really trust enough to tell it to, I guess this is as good as way as any. I ain't got no delusions that anyone is going to be reading this which is probably good since the last thing I want is someone being all up in my business. If I wanted that I'd be on Life Invader all the time like Sergio is. By the way, he told me to link to the Los Santos Customs Life Invader page and since he's the boss and all, there you go. If you stalk the page he says you'll get a free spray paint job, which is kind of a pain in the ass for me since I'm the one that will end up doing it if you bring your ride to the shop in La Mesa.

As you've probably gathered, I work at Los Santos Customs doing most of the grunt work. I like cars, bikes, whatever, so working here has been pretty good. I get to use the tools and shop stuff after hours for my own stuff and Sergio lets me order any parts at cost so that's cool. He's a cool dude, and I'm not just saying that because he's probably gonna be reading this sometime. Here's a snap I took of him when he wasn't telling me what to do:

Well I'm not sure how many of you are gearheads like me, so I'll try not to write about a lot of car stuff. If you want to talk about that, just come over to the shop sometime and we can shoot the shit or something. Instead Sergio suggested I tell you all about why I'm a pacifist and refuse to carry a gun even though that's like having a big ass target on your back around here sometimes. That don't mean I'm a pussy or nothing, though, so if you're thinking I'm an easy mark then you got another thing coming. I just think it's stupid to carry a gun around when you're jacking someone or doing a heist. So that makes me the wheel man for any runs we take, which is cool for me since you know I love cars and all.

It's a pain posting this from my phone so I ain't gonna write anymore tonight. But at least I got this bit done so you know who I am and what this is all about. I'm Walker Gunfree and this is my story.
